STILLS FROM SCULPTURE contains a personal account of Susanna Heron's first three commissions for public places completed between 1994 and 1997 for the European Union in Brussels, The British Embassy in Dublin and Hackney Community College in London. The publication describes the artist's creative process and her collaboration with architects, exploring ideas contained in her previous book Shima: Island and Garden. The book is a photographic account incorporating texts that investigate the experience of landscape and sense of place.
